St. Ives Museum, Porthmeor Beach - Open from end of May to September.
Holds a fascinating insight to over 200 years of the towns history. The building is situated between Portgwidden Beach and the Harbour in Wheal Dream and easily accessible from the town centre. Browse at your leisure through literally hundreds of photos, memoirs and treasures on view portraying St. Ives history of fishing, tin mining and its Lifeboat service amongst many other interesting items.
